THE CLEAN INDOOR AIR ACT WENT INTO EFFECT ON FEBRUARY 1, 2008

The Act will prohibit smoking in all public indoor air places in Maryland.  Visit www.mdcleanair.org to link to the State's official website to view the regulations, receive answers to frequently asked questions, and to obtain signage and educations materials for business owners.  Enforcement information will also be explained on this site.  The Harford County Health Department's Food Control Division will enforce the Clean Indoor Air Act in Harford County during routine inspections of licensed food service facilities as well as through complaints.  The Air Quality Division will investigate complaints involving violations in other publicly accessed facilities.

MARCH IS COLORECTAL SCREENING MONTH--IT'S TIME FOR YOUR SPRING SCREENING!
